Cantarranas Verdejo 2021, Castilla Y Leon Spain – 95 Points Decanter - “Keen herbal, lemon, pear, and floral notes burst deliciously through the nose onto the palate. Mineral, crunchy inflections to the finish and aftertaste. The concentration of flavor is up there too. A wine with a bright finish that a wide audience will enjoy — and such great value!” Winemaker Notes: A powerful and fresh nose with hints of banana, peach, and hay aromas. Round and persistent on the palate with hints of stone fruit.
Unorthodox Sauvignon Blanc 2022 by Backsberg, South Africa – Backsberg’s Unorthodox Kosher range celebrates the Lithuanian Jewish roots of the Back family. Made under the auspices of the Cape Town Beth Din and the OU of the United States, this wine is Mevushal and Kosher for Passover. Tasting Notes: With forthcoming grassy and tropical fruit flavors, this unwooded Sauvignon Blanc exhibits a well-rounded, fruity midpalate with crisp acidity.
Grand Napa Vineyards Chardonnay 2020, Los Carneros California – 91 Points James Suckling. Pale lemon in color with a yellow/golden tint. On the palate the wine is crisp and balanced with a good texture, offering notes of apricot and peach. Full bodied with medium-plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing. This is a delicious Chardonnay from Carneros. Easy drinking right out of the bottle with nice complexity. Nicely balanced, neither tart nor bitter. Gets a little creamier after 20 minutes of airtime. The Butcher's Daughter Cotes du Rhone Reserve 2019, Rhone Valley France – Made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah & Cinsault. This Cotes Du Rhone Red Blend is balanced, mouthwatering, and delicious. The nose has red fruit and good spice, with a touch of vanilla oak. On the palate, the wine is soft and easy drinking with a robust finish. The tannins are rounded and smooth. Kosher for Passover.
Grand Napa Vineyards Pinot Noir 2020, Los Carneros California – 6 months aged in 20% new French oak. An intense and bright garnet red color. The nose is welcoming and intense with black cherry and vanilla aromas. On the palate, the texture is soft and dense with black cherry and red plum in the forefront while the return of vanilla and toasted cardamon bring depth and intensity to a long finish.

Tiamo Pinot Grigio 2021, Veneto, Italy – Made with organic grapes, this is a great example of beautifully balanced Pinot Grigio. The wine is fresh, crisp, and dry but has a tremendous amount of flavor and body. There are suggestions of apple and pear on both the bouquet and the palate. Wonderful with all seafood, vegetables, and chicken dishes but also delightful as an aperitif.
Barboursville Chardonnay 2021, Barboursville, VA – Fermentation: In stainless steel for 10 days at 62ºF; no malolactic fermentation. Aging: On the lees in stainless steel 6-9 months. Composition: Chardonnay 100%. Analysis: Alcohol, 12.5%. Residual Sugars, 0.2%. Total Acidity, 0.62%. Cool fermentation in stainless steel yields a fresh and exuberant wine with crispness and clean varietal aromas and flavors of apple, pear, and lemon. Pair with Linguine with sautéed shrimp and cherry tomato, Carpaccio of swordfish with lime and olive oil, Grilled Cornish hen with rosemary roasted potatoes.
Hahn GSM 2021, California – Aging: 11 months, 35% new French oak. Acid: 6.2 g/L pH 3.76. Alcohol % 14.5. Best Buy - Wine Enthusiast “A classic Rhône-style mix of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, this medium-bodied red offers aromas and flavors of red plum, raspberry, strawberry, fennel and toasted wood alongside ripe, plushy tannins. Best Buy.” — S.B. Bright ruby in color, with generous aromas of black cherry, red berry, and a touch of violet and white pepper. On the palate, enticing flavors of raspberry, strawberry, violet and hints of blueberry and spice enhanced by a broad, rich mid-palate, pleasant mouthfeel, and a well-composed finish. Santa Julia Malbec 2022, Mendoza Argentina – Bodega Santa Julia was created in honor of Julia Zuccardi, part of the third generation of the Zuccardi Family. Santa Julia winery represents the family’s commitment to producing the highest quality wines through organic and sustainable practices that protect the environment and uplift the local community. Tasting notes: Deep red, it presents typical aromas of the variety (red fruits). Well defined varietal character with balance and good acidity. A great match for steak, pork, and lamb, as well as fattier fish like salmon and poultry with dark meat.
Domaine Lafage Tessellae Carignan Vieilles Vignes 2019, Côtes du Roussillon, Roussillon, South France – 92 Points Jeb Dunnuck. Fragrant nose of ripe blackberries, plums, anise, pepper and herbs. Spicy and silky on the palate, echoing the nose with ripe fruits and herbs, silky tannins, and a long finish. An excellent partner for flavorful meat dishes such as spicy lamb meatballs, beef brisket, or roasted pork. It also pairs well with rich poultry dishes like roasted duck or smoked turkey legs.
Thursday, March 16th 2023 4:30pm-7:30pm - Caught Red Handed Irish Beer Tasting with Idiom Brewing Company
Time Capsule Pilsner (5%) 4pk – Double dry-hopped with healthy doses of German Mandarina Bavaria hops. This Dry-Hopped Pilsner is oozing with notes of sweet mandarin orange, juice from a tangerine and a nice smooth bitterness on the end. Perfectly crisp and refreshing for an all day crushable brew.
Kindred Spirits Hazy India Pale Ale (6.5%) 6pk –This CORE New England IPA is sure to please the masses. It boasts a blend of pale English malts, flaked oats and malted white wheat in the mash and is hopped in excess of 6# per BBL with a mix of Callista and Citra hops. We pick up bright tropical, stone fruit and berry flavors that include pineapple, peach, red berries, lychee and pear.

"Sciccheria" Bianco IGP Lazio – 87% Bellone, 13% Verdicchio. Fruity aromas with subtle hints of smokiness. Citrusy, pleasantly mineral, with a lingering finish. Perfect as an aperitif and with raw fish and vegetable stews.
"Capoccia" DOC Bianco Roma – 50% Malvasia Puntinata, 25% Verdicchio, 15% Bellone, 10% Chardonnay. Delicate aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits on the nose with a subtle spicy component. Traces of salt and minerals on the finish. Seafood appetizers, fried fish, and young cheeses.
"Tera De Leone" Cesanese IGP Lazio – 100% Cesanese. Aromas of red berries and roses. Good structure with well-integrated tannins. Delicious with Roman specialties.
"Capomunni" DOC Rosso Roma – 50% Montepulciano, 35% Syrah, 15% Merlot. Aromas of sour cherry, spices, and tobacco. Delicious with grilled meats.
BONUS!!! Château L'Escarelle Rumeurs 2022 Rosé IGP Méditerranée – Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault. Radiant and pale pink in appearance. Summer fruits, blackcurrant, raspberry on the nose. A wonderfully elegant Rosé. A fun, generous wine, ideal for sharing with friends. Sauvignon Blanc Reserva – 91 Points James Suckling. The nose opens on powerful citrus fruit aromas, followed on airing by delicate notes of white blossom and tropical fruit. The refined and fresh attack reveals subtle notes of white blossom and guava, leading into an intense and dense midpalate marked by an explosion of citrus fruit flavors recalling the aromas found on the nose. White blossom flavors return on the elegantly mineral finish.
Pinot Noir Reserva – 92 Points James Suckling. The nose is very complex and fresh, with intense, forward fruit on cherry and raspberry mingled with gentle toasted almond notes. The wine has a very good attack, on elegant and succulent tannins. Fruit flavors emerge on the mid-palate, especially cherry, while the elegant finish combines the fullness of fresh fruit with the refinement of the Casablanca terroir.
Syrah Reserva – 91 Points James Suckling. The nose opens on subtle notes of black fruit such as blackberry and blackcurrant, followed on airing by delicate touches of oak and black pepper. The round and full attack displays the expressive black fruit notes found on the nose. The tannic structure typical of Syrah lends attractive body and heft to the mid-palate, sustained by elegant notes of black and grey pepper, followed by a beautifully long finish distinguished by a remarkable return of fruit flavors and refined toasted notes.
Carmenere Reserva – 92 Points James Suckling. The nose opens on ripe black berry fruit aromas, joined on airing by notes of roasted coffee beans and black pepper. From a highly expressive attack on the black fruit found on the nose, the peppery notes that emerged with airing return on a midpalate which combines power with heft. The finish lingers on an intense array of black fruit, spice and roasted coffee bean flavors.
Gran Reserva – 93 Points James Suckling. 2% Cabernet Franc, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Carmenere, 4% Petite Verdot, 11% Syrah. The nose opens on an elegant combination of red and black fruit aromas, followed with airing by elegant spice and roasted coffee-bean notes. The palate has ripe red and black fruit flavors emerge on the attack, followed on the midpalate by powerful black fruit mingled with delicate spice and roasted coffee-bean notes. The fruit flavors found on the attack return, underpinned by beautifully refined tannins which give length and elegance to the finish.
