In addition to our special event tastings, we feature Beer Tastings most Thursdays and Wine Tastings most Fridays; both complimentary. We think it's always better if you can TRY BEFORE YOU BUY!
This Week's Wine Tasting Selections
Friday, October 22nd 4:30pm-6:30pm
El Coto Blanco, Rioja Spain
93% Viura, 4% Sauvignon Blanc, 3% Verdejo. Crafted predominately from estate grown Viura grapes, indigenous to Rioja, this refreshing wine is fermented at low temperatures to maximize the fresh, zesty citrus flavors. If you enjoy California Sauvignon Blanc, you’ll love this wine. Pairs with fresh seafood and chicken. Enjoy chilled.
Viberti La Gemella Rosata, Piedmont Italy
100% Nebbiolo. This wine was made to prove that high quality rosé can come from Piedmont. Meaning “twin,” La Gemella was created to honor the winemaker’s mother, Maria, who is a twin herself. Expressive floral tones of wild rose, fresh berries and crushed mineral. The La Gemella Rosata is crisp and dry, extremely balanced with notes of sweet berries and zingy grapefruit.
Martin Ray Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast California
94 Points James Suckling. This Pinot Noir is fresh with cranberry, Morello cherry, and mushroom, with a touch of sarsaparilla and silky, refined tannin.
Big Smooth Cabernet Sauvignon, Lodi California
This Cabernet Sauvignon is bold and rich with aromas of ripe boysenberry fruit, luscious berry jam, cassis, and mocha notes. This is a big, plush wine with layers of inviting fruit flavors and spice complexity. The use of oak underpins a pleasing toasty character while showcasing a smooth texture. This is a powerful wine with intense flavors and well-integrated, smooth tannins which lead to flavorful and long finish.
