Some of our Favorites:
Dogfish Head Punkin Ale
A full-bodied brown ale with smooth hints of pumpkin and brown sugar. They brew Punkin Ale with pumpkin meat, organic brown sugar and spices. This is the perfect beer to warm-up with, as the season cools. $9.50 per 4 pack.
Unibroue La Fin du Monde
This triple style golden ale is made in Chambly, Québec but has a true Belgian character. With a slow champagne like effervescence this beer opens up with a floral bouquet, aromas of honey, spice, coriander, malt, and alcohol greet your nose. In the mouth it is mildly yeasty with a complex palate of malt, fruit and spice notes. The warm finish is smooth and dry, lingering pleasantly.
Duvel Belgian Golden Ale
A 100% pure and natural beer, with no additives or preservatives. And you can taste the difference immediately. Its surprisingly high alcohol content (8.5%), huge, creamy head, delicate effervescence and silky smooth mouth feel is what distinguishes Duvel from other Belgian beers. With its subtly bitter bite and delicate aroma, Duvel holds a unique position within the rich Belgian beer tradition. After bottling, the beer continues to ferment for a fortnight in the warm cellars of the brewery. Finally, the beer is chilled for 6 weeks in the cold cellars. This extra long maturing process is unique and contributes to the exquisite flavor and pure aroma of Duvel.
Sierra Nevada Torpedo
A big American IPA; bold, assertive, and full of flavor highlighting the complex citrus, pine, and herbal character of whole-cone American hops. Their obsession with harnessing huge hop flavor led to the development of the hop torpedo, a revolutionary method of dry-hopping. The torpedo is a sleek, stainless-steel piece of hardware that delivers more pure hop aroma than any other method of dry-hopping.
Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA
Continuously hopped – more than 60 hop additions over a 60 minute boil (getting a vibe yet of where the name came from?). 60 Minute is a session India Pale Ale brewed with a slew of great NorthWest hops. A powerful, but balanced East Coast I.P.A. with a lot of citrusy hop character. The session beer for hardcore beer enthusiasts.
Three Philosophers Quadrupel
Cynics can’t believe it, Epicures hail it a sensation, and Pythagoreans just can’t add up what makes this luscious blend of rich malty ale and cherry lambic so delightful. It might be the flavor of dark chocolate and cherry cordials; it could be the way it acquires wisdom and grace in the cellar. Maybe it’s a conundrum. What’s your theory?
